About Me

Hello!

My name’s Jo and I’m a 32 year old from Bristol who recently moved back to my hometown after three years living in London.

Fed up of the stigma in the press about millennials supposedly spending their housing deposits on avocados, I wanted to discuss the realities of saving for the future. Along with sharing tips on the best ways I’ve found to save and make money, I will also discuss key issues facing our generation with regards to finance.

My goal is to instil in everyone that saving a little can help a lot and the best way to do it is to start early. I also want to demonstrate that being thrifty isn’t about spending hours cutting coupons, living on baked beans and holidaying in Bognor Regis – instead you can often make big changes to your finances with minimal changes to your lifestyle.

Whether you’re after suggestions on how to save money, or tips on the best budget travel destinations, I hope you find some useful advice. I’d also love to hear any recommendations of your own.

If you’ve made it this far I hope you’ll stick around for the ride!
